Advised by Endesa, EPRESA Energia (100% owned by Electricidad de Puerto Real) has contracted Ilevo to deliver second generation PLC equipment (CPEs, MV and LV units) for a commercial deployment of telecommunication services using this technology in Puerto Real (Cadiz, Spain). The installation will take place during the first half of 2005, and is structured for an initial scope of up to 12 000 households in 2005 reaching 16 000 households in the following years.
Endesa has been working with PLC for several years, and is considered to be the leading player in the PLC market. This contract confirms that Ilevo second generation PLC equipment fulfills the very high quality and performance standards that Endesa requires from the equipment.
