April 20, 2006 20:59Following the 7-steps workplan approved in Capetown last October by the IEC CISPR/I subcommittee for Electromagnetic compatibility of information technology equipment, multimedia equipment and receivers (27 members worldwide), the PLT Project Team, dedicated to the limits and method of measurement of broadband telecommunication equipment over power lines, has issued a first Draft for Comments. According to the project leader, Jean-Philippe FAURE, Ilevo VP Standardization, this document aims at describing typical electricity installations where it is intended to connect PLC equipment.
