The second phase of OPERA (Open PLC European Research Alliance), approved by the European Commission at the end of 2006, was officially launched in Madrid, on January 9-10, 2007.
The project aims at developing a standardized PLC technology with improved features that address large scale deployments and new services.
As a leading player on PLC market, Ilevo is a member of the steering committee, and chairs the technical committee of OPERA 2.
