Ilevo news
March 13, 2007 16:42After many efforts and hurdles, IEEE P1901 workgroup has analysed all inputs from PLC market players and came up with the 400 requirements for the baseline BPL standard. All requirements have been developed around to three clusters: Access, In-home nd Coexistence/interoperability.
All technical proposals are due by June 4th 2007. The workgroup will then evaluate and select proposals that best meet the requirements of each cluster. "The goal is to create the best technical standard from one or many sources" says Jean-Philippe Faure, Chair of IEEE P1901 workgroup and VP standardisation of Ilevo.
This achievement represents 3 years of continous efforts from Ilevo and we are proud to lead the project, and get it passed such a significant milestones.
