Since the area was not eligible to receive broadband communications by ADSL or Optical Fiber, Samarçolles local authorities decided to go for Power Line Communications technology, that consists in bringing broadband communications over power lines. Thus, a communication infrastructure combining PLC and WiFi was set up in Samarçolles, lighting up with broadband communications the main village and surrounding hamlets. Ilevo is very proud to be part of this project, that strongly involved all local partners. A common success that can be seen into users' high level of satisfaction. This also confirms the capabilities of Ilevo 200Mbps PLC technology to overcome digital divide issues.
