Head-ends

A head-end is a communication infrastructure module that allows injection of PLC signal over LV/MV electrical network. It is a key component of the powerline backhaul and masters all other units in the network. It connects the internet backbone whatever the technology (ADSL, satellite, fiber optic, cable, WIMAX...) to the electrical grid.

Transformer Equipment (TE) System

This device is a 200Mbps transformer equipment (chipset 9002), designed as a rack on which modules are plugged providing scalability and adaptation to different needs to suit access configurations. It is optimised for Smart grid applications and can be configured, for example, as a MV FD repeater + LV Head-end.

These devices are 200Mbps head-ends (chipset 9002), designed for extreme environment, IP54, with integrated filters, simplifying network planning.
