L'Universal Powerline Association (UPA) continue de grandir de manière significative avec un nombre d'adhérents multiplié par 3 en 2006. UPA compte désormais plus de 20 sociétés de premier plan parmi ses membres.
Ce chiffre vient renforcer la position d'UPA en tant qu'association de référence pour le marché CPL.
A l'origine de l'adhésion des nouveaux membres, on retrouve l'idéal d'ouverture de l'UPA et un marché harmonieux du Courant Porteur en Ligne (CPL) basé sur des normes ouvertes et des réglementations à l'échelle mondiale.
